Okay, I have proven it to myself. I can make art even when the pain is tearing away at my insides. It isn't the same art it would have been, but some people like it better. It's definitely raw. I'll post it soon. Will my brain deny pain?  Yeah, but it isn't much fun and I guess I like physical comfort too much to be one of those artists who works ceaselessly through every imaginable hardship. I guess we all die a little for our art  -- look at Michelangelo, who sacrificed his health and physical well-being for his art continuously, as if he were totally unaware of his body. I have been sidelined by pain -- unable to create. For years I suffered with minor pain but continued to press on. However, finally it got so bad I was unable to continue. The first diagnosis was Interstitial Cystitis, a terrible bladder disease with no cure. The pain grew and a new diagnosis emerged --->  Pudendal Nerve Entrapment. The pudendal nerves run deep in the pelvis and, in rare cases, can become trapped by ligaments and/or scar tissue. I got to the point where I was unable to walk or even get out of bed. On good days I would get up and hobble into my home studio, listlessly gazing at the last pieces I had been attempting to work on,
